Profhilo treatment
WHAT IS PROFHILO?
Profhilo® is the first product of its kind. It is a revolutionary hyaluronic acid moisturising treatment that works "beneath the skin." It is made with the patented NAHYCO® technology. This makes a unique injectable gel made of hyaluronic acid that has a long-lasting effect on the skin cells. When Profhilo is injected into the skin, it stimulates the skin cell receptors to stop the skin from getting loose and to improve and restore the skin's firmness.
Profhilo has one of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid on the market. It not only gives the skin a boost and keeps it hydrated, but it also rebuilds old and sagging tissue. The most common places to treat are the face and neck, but it can also be used to treat loose skin on the décolletage, hands, arms, knees, and abdomen. The treatment is good for both men and women, and people of all ages can get better skin from it.
HOW DOES PROFHILO WORK?
A very small amount of ultra-pure hyaluronic acid is injected into the area that needs to be fixed. Unlike wrinkle-reduction and dermal filler treatments, Profhilo stimulates collagen and elastin, which attracts water to the deeper layers of the skin.
When a gel is stabilised, its effect on skin cells lasts longer than when it is not. During this time, slow release of hyaluronic acid stimulates four different types of collagen and elastin.
When the tissue is stimulated, it gets much better. So, we can't say that Profhilo is a skin booster because it also tightens and lifts the tissue in a big way.
PROFHILO TREATMENT
In the last few years, Profhilo has become very popular. It is a great way to treat skin that lacks volume and elasticity. It works well, is safe, and lasts longer than expensive skin creams and treatments. So, if you want your skin to look and feel like it did when you were younger, Profhilo might be just what you need.
WHAT IS PROFHILO?
A bio remodelling agent is what Profhilo is. The actual compound is stabilised hyaluronic acid that is injected into the skin to tighten it up. Profhilo is one of the most concentrated forms of hyaluronic acid on the market today (64mg HA per 2ml syringe).
It has both high molecular weight hyaluronic acid (H-LA) and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid (L-HA). These two types of hyaluronic acid are thermally bound together with patented NAHYCO technology. When the two kinds of hyaluronic acid are put together, they make a compound that lasts much longer than either of them alone.
Even though this might sound scary, you already have hyaluronic acid in your body. It's also in foods like root vegetables, soy, leafy greens, and citrus fruits like oranges. For the same reason, it's also one of the most common ingredients in anti-aging and anti-wrinkle skin creams.
You can think of it more simply as a very effective injectable moisturiser instead of a filler.
Most of the time, Profhilo is used on the face and neck, where wrinkles and sagging skin are most noticeable. But it can be used anywhere you want your skin to look firmer and younger.
HOW DOES PROFHILO WORK?
As you get older, your body makes less and less hyaluronic acid, collagen, and elastin on its own. All three of these things affect how firm and full your skin is as a whole. So, this is why our skin gets lines and wrinkles as we get older.
Profhilo was made to fight against this and reshape the skin so that it looks fuller and firmer again.
It works by being put into the skin just below the surface. Once it is injected, it spreads out on its own and is absorbed over about 4 cm of skin. This means that the treatment can usually be used on the whole face with about 10 injection sites.
The bio-aesthetic point (BAP) method is used to inject Profhilo. This method was made just for Profhilo. The BAP technique is a series of five injection sites on each side of your face. It was designed with the help of CT scans to spread the Profhilo in the most effective and even way.
Since it's not a filler, there won't be any lumps or bumps, and you won't have to massage it in either.
To get the best results, Profhilo treatment is done in two separate sessions, four weeks apart from each other. Even though your body will naturally make more elastin and collagen after this time, Profhilo will only be in your body for about 4 weeks after being injected.
WHAT HYALURONIC ACID DOES TO YOUR SKIN
The hyaluronic acid in Profhilo has this effect because it likes water. This means that it brings water to the place where it grows. So, when you get Profhilo injected into tired or sagging skin, water will be drawn to the area, rehydrating it in the process. This happens between 3 and 5 days after the first injection.
Profhilo also makes the body make more collagen and elastin, which is a side effect. This will happen on its own over the next few weeks, and the full effects of the treatment are usually clearest after about 8 weeks.
So, in short, Profhilo draws more water into the skin to add volume and tightness without the need for permanent or semi-permanent fillers. Unlike fillers, which sit between the skin's layers, Profhilo also hydrates and rejuvenates the skin's deeper layers, making the effect last longer.
IS PROFHILO A FILLER?
No, Profhilo is an agent for bio-remodeling. Even though hyaluronic acid is used to make both fillers and Profhilo, the way they work is very different. Fillers are hyaluronic acid gels that are much thicker and do what the name says: they fill the space in the skin. Profhilo, on the other hand, is much thinner and spreads out after being injected. This means that a much larger area of skin can start to absorb water and start making collagen and elastin again.
HOW LONG DOES RECOVERY TAKE AFTER PROFHILO?
After treatment with Profhilo, there is no real "recovery time." After treatment, you can usually go about your day as usual. But on the first day, you shouldn't try to strain too much so that the Profhilo can spread evenly to all the injection sites. For the first few days, you should also stay out of direct and strong UV light. For the first few days, you should also try to stay away from very steamy showers, steam rooms, and saunas.
HOW LONG DOES PROFHILO LAST?
As was said before, each treatment will take place 4 weeks after the last one. After about 8 weeks from the first treatment, the results will be most obvious. But people will be able to see the effects for up to six months. After that, treatment can be done again as needed.
IS PROFHILO SAFE?
There are many reasons why Profhilo is very safe to use. First, the L-HA is released very slowly because of how the two types of hyaluronic acid are linked together. This means that Profhilo is very compatible with your body, so there is a very small chance that it will cause an inflammatory or autoimmune response.
Because Profhilo is injected using the BAP method, most people can treat their whole face with just 5 injections on each side, far apart from each other. This means you will feel less pain and swelling after the injection, and it will be much easier and faster to give.
As with any cosmetic procedure, though, there is a small chance that the injection site will sting a little and get a little red afterward. But when these side effects do happen, which is very rarely, they usually go away very quickly.
Also, you should know that Profhilo is not recommended for women who are pregnant or who are nursing.
And finally, because Profhilo is made of hyaluronic acid, you should never use it if you are allergic to hyaluronic acid.
